Kelsey Stamps

Hey, I’m Kelsey Stamps — part writer, part therapist, full-time people watcher (in a non-creepy, totally professional way... mostly). I studied Social Psychology at CU Boulder, which means I’m endlessly fascinated by why we love who we love, how we connect, and what makes us tick in relationships — especially the weird, wonderful chaos of cross-cultural ones.

These days, you’ll find me hopping between two worlds: by day, I run a small psychology practice where I help couples sort through love, communication quirks, cultural curveballs, and the occasional visa drama. By night (and weekends... and sometimes Tuesdays at 2 a.m.), I write. A lot. Think: clever planning hacks to keep your sanity intact, and no-fluff advice for couples interested in international dating — particularly the relationships between American guys and foreign girls (spoiler: it’s as tricky and beautiful as it sounds).

I believe in raw honesty, awkward laughter, and those “oh my god, SAME” moments. I don’t do sugarcoating — life and love are messy, and that’s what makes them magic. My goal? To help you feel a little more seen, a little more prepared, and a lot less alone. No matter you’re planning a mountaintop “I do” or asking yourself if your fiancé’s mom is really being passive-aggressive or it's just a language barrier.
